27.1 Tل Sيn. These are the verses of the Qur'an and an illuminating Book, |
Unifying to Conflicting because at first all are unified by the fact that the statement "Ta Sin" is a verse from the Quran. The aya then becomes conflicting when it states, without solid proof, that this is an "illuminating book".
27.2 A guidance and good tidings to those who would believe, |
.Conflicting because the aya continues to make claims about the holy Quran that can not be proven when it states that the book provides "guidance".
27.3 Who observe Prayer and pay the Zakلt, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. |
Isolating to Conflicting because the aya isolates a certain group of people i.e. those who “observe Prayer and pay the Zakلt, and have firm faith in the Hereafter”; then links them to the previous aya which, as we mentioned, is conflicting.
27.4 As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, WE have made their deeds apper beautiful to them, so they wander blindly. |
Isolating to Conflicting again but far another reason. First a different clan of people are isolated i.e. those who do not believe in the Hereafter. The aya is then generates conflict because it states that they wander blindly.
27.5 It is they who shall have a grievous torment, and they alone it is who shall be the greatest losers in the hereafter. |
Conflicting because the aya continues to describe those that were described in the previous verse by claiming that they will have a grievous torment and will be the greatest losers.
27.6 Verily, thou receivest the Qur'an from the One Wise, All-Knowing. |
Conflicting because the aya is making a claims that can not be proven by fact or science. First that this book is indeed from god. Second that god is the One Wise and All-Knowing.
27.7 Call to mind when Moses said to his family, `I perceive a fire. I will bring you from there some news of great import, or I will bring you a flaming brand that you may warm yourselves.' |
Isolating to Unifying because the aya is dealing with a historical fact that has been confirmed by sources other than the Quran itself. This is a statement that is approved by believers certain (not all) non-believers. This is where a certain group of believers in this historical fact can be isolated from the rest and unified in their agreement with this statement.
27.8 o when he came to it, he was called by a voice, `Blessed is he who is in the fire and also those around it, and glorified be ALLAH, the Lord of the worlds; |
Conflicting because the aya is making mythological claims that can not be supported by science or fact and can therefore not be proven to those who do not believe in it.
27.9 `O Moses, verily, I am ALLAH, the Mighty, the Wise; |
Conflicting because the aya is making mythological claims that can not be supported by science or fact and can therefore not be proven to those who do not believe in it. It can not be proven that God actually said that.
27.10 `Throw down thy rod.' And when he saw it move as though it were a serpent, he turned back retreating and did not look back, whereupon WE said, `O Moses, fear not. Verily, I am the One in Whose presence the Messengers need have no fear; |
Conflicting because the aya is making mythological claims that can not be supported by science or fact and can therefore not be proven to those who do not believe in it. It can not be proven that any of this actually happened.
27.11 As to those who do wrong and then adopt good instead of evil; to them I am indeed Most Forgiving, Merciful. |
Isolating to Conflicting because the aya isolates a certain group of people then makes a claim that god will forgive them. The claim of the existence of god can not be proven and is therefore conflicting.
27.12 And put thy hand into thy bosom; it will come forth white without evil. This is among the nine Signs unto Pharaoh and his people, for they are a rebellious people.' |
Conflicting for two reasons. First is that there is no way of proving that God spoke to Moses. The second reason is that the aya states that the Pharaoh and his people are rebellious.
27.13 But when Our sight-giving Signs came to them, they said, `This is manifest magic.' |
Conflicting to Coexisting because the aya first says “signs” which can not be proven to be true. Then the aya is coexisting because the non-believers will agree that they believed that the deeds Moses performed were only magic.
27.14 And they rejected them wrongfully and arrogantly, while their souls were convinced of their truth. See then, how evil was the end of those who acted corruptly ! |
Conflicting to Isolating. Conflicting because the aya makes a claim about the contents of the non-believers hearts that can not be verified. The verse then isolates those who “acted corruptly” and attempts to make an example of them to prove a point.
27.15 And WE gave knowledge to David and Solomon and they said, `All praise belongs to ALLAH, Who has exalted us above many of HIS believing servants.' |
Conflicting because there is no way to prove beyond a doubt that this historical information is true. It can not be proven that God is the one who gave David and Solomon their knowledge nor can it be proved that they acknowledged that they were his believing servants.
27.16 And Solomon was heir to David. And he said, `O ye people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have had all necessary things bestowed upon us. This indeed is God's manifest Grace.' |
27.17 And there were gathered together unto Solomon his hosts of jinn and men and birds, and they were formed into separate divisions, |
Conflicting because there is no way the claims made in the verse can be proven.
27.18 Until when they came to the valley of Al-Naml, a Namlite said, `O ye Naml, enter your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you, while they know not.' |
Conflicting because there is no way to prove that what is stated in the aya above can be proven and established as fact.
27.19 Thereupon he smiled wondering at her words and said, `My Lord, grant me that I may be grateful to Thee, for Thy favour which Thou hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do such good works as would please Thee, and admit me, by Thy mercy, among Thy righteous servants.' |
Conflicting because there is no way to prove that what is stated in the aya actually ever happened. There is nothing to prove that Solomon actually said what the aya claims he uttered.
27.20 And he reviewed the birds and said, `How is it that I do not see Hudhud ? Is he deliberately absent ? |
Conflicting because there is no way to prove that what is stated in the aya actually ever happened. There is nothing to prove that Solomon actually said what the aya claims he uttered.
27.21 `I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or I will slay him, unless he brings me a clear reason for his absence. |
Conflicting because there is no way to prove that what is stated in the aya actually ever happened. There is nothing to prove that Solomon actually said what the aya claims he uttered.
27.22 And he did not
tarry long before Hudhud came and said, `I have acquired knowledge of that of
which thou hast no knowledge; and I have come to thee from |
Conflicting because there is no way to prove that what is stated in the aya actually ever happened. There is nothing to prove that Solomon actually said what the aya claims he uttered.
27.23 `I found a woman ruling over them, and she has been given every necessary thing and she has a mighty throne; |
Conflicting because it can not be proven that the Hudhud said anything that was quoted in the aya.
27.24 `I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of ALLAH, and Satan has made their works look beautiful to them, and has thus hindered them from the right way, so they are not rightly guided - |
Conflicting because it can not be proven that the Hudhud said anything that was quoted in the aya.
27.25 `And they insist that they will not worship ALLAH, while ALLAH is HE who brings to light that which is hidden in the heavens and the earth, And Who knows what you conceal and what you disclose of your design; |
Conflicting because it can not be proven that the Hudhud said anything that was quoted in the aya.
27.26 `ALLAH ! there is no god but HE, the Lord of the Mighty Throne.' |
Conflicting because this is a claim that can be argued against as there is no proof as to its truthfulness. This, to the non-believers, is a purely mythological statement.
27.27 Thereupon Solomon said, `We shall see whether thou hast spoken the truth or whether thou art a liar; |
Conflicting because there is no way to prove that what is stated in the aya actually ever happened. There is nothing to prove that Solomon actually said what the aya claims he uttered.
27.28 `Go thou, with this letter of mine, and lay it before them; then withdraw from them and see what answer they return.' |
Conflicting because there is no way to prove that what is stated in the aya actually ever happened. There is nothing to prove that Solomon actually said what the aya claims he uttered.
27.29 The Queen said, `Ye chiefs, there has been delivered to me a noble letter; |
Conflicting because there is no proof that the queen said what is claimed in the aya.
